"Breaking Away"

Painted Sculpture known as Sculpting Outside the Box. This unique work of art is my 100% original idea that I came up with in 2006. I use my knowledge of three-dimensional and relief sculpture to create the subjects, sculpting them entirely by hand. I then mount them to hard art boards made specifically for painting, and paint them in realistic style using acrylic paint. The entire purpose of this piece is to make it appear as though a two-dimensional painting is coming to life and escaping its boundaries. I have not yet seen anything quite like it. Patent Pending.
